National Gardens Scheme 2009

One of WADARS committee members, Elaine Sinclair, opened her garden for the National Gardens Scheme Open Day in July and it proved to be very successful. Over £3000 was raised, of which £700 was donated to WADARS and the rest to specific cancer charities.

We would like to say a special thank you to everyone who helped with the set up and running of the day. This involved donating cakes and plants, manning the cake and plant stalls, making and serving refreshments, not to mention helping with car parking.

It was a really good day, enjoyed by many!!
