After an initial discussion to see whether a dog might be a good match for you we will send you a link to an online application form. Please be aware that we usually receive multiple applications for each dog, and we work hard to ensure we find the best match – this could mean that the dog you applied for is not suitable, but another dog may well be. 

When you submit the online form you will receive an automated response to let you know that we have received it and that the Team will be in touch once they have reviewed your information. If a dog appears to be suitable we will then invite you to come along and meet it.

Wadars dogs will come to you having already been vaccinated, microchipped, neutered (if they are old enough), and treated for fleas and worms. If they are not old enough to have been neutered at the time of adoption you will be given a neutering voucher to take to your vet for when they reach the required age. You will also receive one month’s free insurance from Petplan. We strongly recommend that you continue with insurance cover as unexpected veterinary fees can be very expensive.

In order to help cover some of our costs, we ask for a minimum adoption fee of £280 for a dog over six months of age, and £300 under six months.
