Help Us Build a New Small Animal Unit
From rabbits and guinea pigs to gerbils, rats and mice, the smallest animals in our care deserve a safe and comfortable home. Help us create a purpose-built Small Animal Unit at Willow Farm, with facilities designed around their individual needs.
Small animals deserve a space designed for them
At Hangleton Lane, our small animals are currently housed in a converted flint barn. But with no equivalent building at Willow Farm, we need to create a new space where we can continue to care for them.
Our proposed purpose-built log cabin will provide more suitable accommodation, with facilities designed to improve animal welfare and support the everyday work of our care team.
With dedicated washing and preparation areas alongside bespoke animal pens, we'll be able to create a practical, efficient and secure environment for rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, mice and the other small animals who depend on us.
What we're creating for our small animals
The new unit will bring together suitable accommodation and dedicated care facilities in one purpose-built space, helping us meet the different needs of the small animals at Willow Farm.
Purpose-built log cabin
A dedicated building will replace the converted barn at Hangleton Lane, providing more suitable accommodation for our small animals.
Washing facilities
A dedicated washing area will support the daily cleaning and care required to maintain the unit.
Preparation facilities
A dedicated preparation area will give our team a practical space to organise the everyday care of our small animals.
Bespoke animal pens
Specially designed pens will help us accommodate different species according to their individual needs.
Small Animal Unit Funding Target
Your support will help us create a purpose-built home for the smallest animals in our care. Every contribution will bring us closer to the £36,689 needed for a new unit with dedicated care facilities and accommodation designed around their needs.

Cattery Relocation
By relocating our existing cattery, we'll continue to create a safe, comfortable and familiar environment for the cats who depend on us.
Location
Dog Exercise Areas
Each exercise area will be enclosed with 1.8m-high fencing and secure access gates so dogs can be released directly into the exercise area.

House to Office Conversion
Willow Farm has been a small holding and family home for many years. Wadars will have different requirements as it adapts the house to office space.
